What camera and lens do you use?
I’ve been on a Canon 5D Mark II for the last 2.5 years. Aside for its slow AF it has been serving me well. I use a combination of a 35/1.4, 58/2, and 85/1.2 lens.
What are you lighting your shots with?
I go back and forth between using natural light with bounce cards and mixing natural lights with strobes (Prophoto).
I want to get into photography, can you recommend a good camera for me?
I’ve been hearing good things about that iPhone 4s.
Did you go to school for photography?
Nopes, I’m self taught. I learned through reading a lot, assisting a lot, and shooting a lot.
But you graduated with a Studio Art degree…
The university I graduated from emphasized more on art theory than the technical side of photography.
How do you know so many YouTube personalities?
They are around me, and I photograph them so we become friends :)
What software do you use to edit?
Lightroom and Photoshop.
Why are you ignoring my emails?!
I’m thankful for all your support, but if were to reply to every single question/comment I wouldn’t be making images OR I’ll never finish editing… ever.
Really I want to get into photography, any advice?
Just shoot what you love and the rest will follow.
